Case Study
A worn smile restored with custom dental crowns
Bringing back strength, function, and natural aesthetics

The patient’s concern
Arthur (name changed for privacy) visited TC Dental with multiple concerns about his front teeth. His two central incisors and left lateral incisor showed significant signs of wear, decay, and ageing cosmetic bonding. Though once effective, the bonding had since faded and failed—impacting both the aesthetics and integrity of his smile.

Our treatment plan
Following a thorough examination, our team recommended replacing the deteriorating bonding with durable, custom-fitted dental crowns. This solution would not only restore the natural aesthetics of Arthur’s smile but also reinforce the structural integrity of his teeth.
The first step involved removing the old bonding material and carefully cleaning out all areas of decay. Once the teeth were free from damage, we performed minimal tooth preparation to ensure the crowns would fit securely and comfortably without compromising the underlying tooth structure.
We then took precise impressions to create an accurate model of Arthur’s teeth. This guided the fabrication of custom crowns tailored to his unique bite and facial features.
At TC Dental, we work closely with our onsite partner ceramist, a premium dental laboratory known for its meticulous attention to detail and exceptional craftsmanship. This trusted collaboration ensures every crown we deliver is not only durable and functional, but also lifelike and beautifully natural in appearance.
Excellent results achieved
With his new crowns, Arthur’s front teeth were restored in strength, shape, and appearance—while protecting the natural tooth structure underneath. Most importantly, he left with a confident smile.
